band history CenterFire was formed back in December of 2003 by Ron, Dave and Buddy. Playing out of Dave's garage, they began playing covers of their favorite bands including Sum-41, Metallica and Staind.
The band was missing a drummer and spent, literally, over a year searching for someone with skills and personality suiting the rest of the band. After several trials, it seemed as though CenterFire would never be able to find a drummer. Fortunatley, the gods were smiling upon them and Tim showed up. After the first song, the rest of the band new that this was the guy.
Although, CenterFire is the current name of the band, it wasn't always the case. When the original three members began writing original material the band didn't even have a name. After a long time searching for the right name and attempting others (i.e. Yellow #5) the guys came up with CenterFire and it fit perfectly.
No matter what the name, CenterFire is a band of guys who love music and love to play it. They hope you enjoy their music and remember to crank it up!
